Start Your Dog Separation Anxiety Training Program Here!
I guide and teach dog owners through a separation anxiety protocol that can help dogs feel safe and comfortable when separated from their humans.
I use years of animal training knowledge and proven teaching methods to provide exceptional client experiences which empower them to continue training.
-
I do a full initial assessment where I get background information and watch your dog’s behavior when alone.
This gives me the information I need to give recommendations and lets you ask any questions you have about the training process.
-
After your Initial Assessment if I recommend it and you decide to work with me, we start with a 4-5 week package of appointments.
This package is called “Module 1” of the Separation Anxiety Complete Foundations .
You will have 5 live sessions, up to 16 individualized missions (training exercises) written for you, as well as online videos and handouts to orient you to separation anxiety training.
-
After Module 1 you have choices!
Option 1: Continue the same style with Module 2 which includes 4 weekly trainer sessions, trainer-written missions, as well as Online learning materials and mission-writing practice. This option is meant to empower you to be able to write your own missions sooner. This may make sense if you are on a budget and/or if you are interested in training more independently.
Option 2: If you need a break from online materials and learning, you can instead get a 4-week package which only includes the trainer-written practice and weekly live assessments.
If you complete Module 2, then you will also be given the option to complete Module 3 which provides a few more online materials and lets you practice the protocol almost independently “with training wheels” - your practice plans will still be double-checked by me, Liz.
-
If you have completed Modules 1, 2, and 3 then you will have the skills to write your own training!
From here, we can work together to decide what level of support makes the most sense, here are the most common option:
Option 1: You have the skills and still want the trainer. You can absolutely still work with me and have me write all of your missions and conduct all of your assessments.
Option 2: Switch to ½ of the trainer mission support. I will still do your assessments but they will change to every other week - I write 1 week of missions, then you write 1 week of mission, then we assess.
Option 3: Assessments only. I plan and observe all the assessments and based on each assessment write your missions-writing parameters for the week. Then you write the missions and complete them. Assessments might be every week or every other week depending on your dog.
Option 4: Fully independent training with check-ins. You do all of your missions and assessments - we meet every 4-6 weeks for data analysis, troubleshooting, and training adjustments. This is the most budget-friendly option while still making sure that you are getting professional support for your training.
